A year and a half and 25 weddings later I’m finally getting back on the blogging bandwagon. My priority last year was to build on my skills, and to give my clients the best possible product, but now I finally have some time to blog!!!
From today onward I will blog more frequently. I swear. I hope. We’ll see.
On to Hannah and Rob from Lindsay, Ontario.
I met Hannah at an opera summer program in 2013. Hannah is a teacher and on opera singer #doublelife. On our downtime from the busy music camp, a bunch of us would watch the bachelor (yes, I enjoy dirty television sometimes), and this is when Hannah saw me editing my weddings. I get super self-conscious when people see my process. I take a lot of bad photos to get the good ones, but it’s how I end up getting exactly what I want. Either way, she decided then and there that I would shoot her wedding. She didn’t know when, but she knew it would be with Rob!
Rob is a teacher and an incredible rugby player #doublelife. He recently represented the Canadian national team at the Americas Rugby championship. He as a way of gaining your respect immediately. As we used to say in wrestling. He’s a beaut. A pure beaut.
To the wedding. I joined the families in Indio California for one week. One week away from the cold in Montreal, Canada. One week of early morning workouts with the bride and groom. Bike rides with the bridesmaids, and poolside drinks with the parents on both sides. On St Patty’s day the entire wedding got dressed in green attire and walked the streets. A mini parade with lots of green beer. Let’s just say some people had a hard time getting up the next day 😉
I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story:
